MNEMOSINE human digital heritage

We provide in this page a first analysis in order to set on a structure able to give a solid framework to tackle the management of personal data.

The requirement for such a structure are the following :

• It must be perenial in the long term, able to tackle transgenerational period of time.
• It must be rigid concerning ethical questions.
• It must be financially solid.

There is a main difficulty. The financial aspects require a permanent adaptation to markets. They may not be compatible with the rigidity of ethical concerns. Thus a proposal is to use a separation principle :

• Ethical concerns are treated by a network of Non Profit Organizations, federated by Mnemosine.
• Financial aspects are treated by tiers structures, companies or institutions.

Such a separation principle can be make precise, to delimit precisely the scope of each kind of structures. The NGO structure is competent for concerns related to the UDHDR and its applications. All other concerns can be treated by external organization, as organizations or corporates.
